Josh Brumett, 19, currently attends the University of Texas at Dallas, where he serves as a Eugene McDermott Scholar.  Here at MH, he is head writer in charge of philosophizing, being literary, and carrying luggage.  His hobbies include reading books, kissing women, pondering eternal questions, and playing jazz.  Although he has yet to declare a major, he hopes to pursue his current interests in science and writing in whatever field he decides to enter.

Saskia Versteeg, 18, also attends UTD as a McDermott Scholar.  Her duties at MH include chief writer in charge of reporting and documentation of actual events, lead photographer, and person who makes sure Josh isn’t wandering around Europe completely lost.  She is interested in many things which she will hopefully write here.  Saskia is a physics major, which Josh thinks is pretty much ridiculously cool.

  1. Ohhh, these bios do make me chuckle…
Saskia, please bring my dear friend back alive…I know it may be a bit much to ask, but I have grown quite fond of him over the past..ohhh…10 years, and I need him to review my next two films.

  2. Josh,
Love your blog! FUMC staff prayed for you this morning. Your mom has her watch set on Copenhagen time because she is thinking about you all the time. Hope you have adjusted to the new time zone. Nodding off in long meetings (however important) is no fun. I know this is an exciting and important time for you (and the world!) Stay safe and keep us posted. God bless!

  3. Greetings to all who post the day’s events, for we around the world that are listening and watching. The world is sure to be a better place in the future with your leadership. Thanks for taking your precious time to be part of this most important conference.
